The UK Lesbian & Gay Immigration Group (UKLGIG) is establishing new support groups. If you know an LGBTQI+ person seeking asylum who wants to connect with others in the same boat, they might be eligible. The meetings currently take place in London SE1 and there is an advice surgery in Birmingham. If applicants cannot attend one of the monthly asylum meetings in London or attend the advice surgery in Birmingham, UKLGIG’s Legal Officer may be able to help by phone or email.
