Effective from 25 May 2018
Data protection rules have changed and new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force from 25 May 2018. Consequently, Quest has now introduced a Privacy Notice (below), effective from 12 May 2018.
Data Retention: Personal information will only be held by Quest for the length of your membership. If your membership lapses, we will retain that information for a maximum period of four months following the annual membership renewal date during which time we will send a maximum of one reminder/invitation to renew. If however you indicate that you do not wish to renew/remain a member of Quest then your details will be deleted as soon as practicably possible on receipt of that indication.
Right of Complaint: You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you consider there is a problem with the way Quest has handled your personal data. However, we would hope you would bring it to our attention in the first instance so that the issue can be appropriately rectified.
